Adventure Elachbutting Elachbutting Rock is a massive granite outcrop, a very popular camping spot for 4x4 wheel clubs and for locals. It has a spectacular colourful wave similar to Hyden’s Wave Rock with the added beauty of ‘Monty’s Pass’, a 30m tunnel caused by a rock slide. An echoing cave similar to an amphitheatre is close by. The 6km track around the rock with its dense trees and shrubs hide many interesting species of flora. The east side is renowned for its masses of Donkey Orchids at the base to the rock. Read More

📣Community Budget Submissions are now open!

Council is currently inviting submissions for the coming 2024/25 Budget. Submissions will be accepted until the 20th May 2024 for the financial year commencing 1^st July 2024. Council generally adopts the 2024/25 Budget at a special meeting of Council taking place in early July.

Submissions must include a detailed description, if appropriate detailed plans and an estimated cost, if known, of the project and other funding that has been received or is being applied for to deliver the project. Submission forms are available by Clicking Here

Submissions can be posted to: Shire of Westonia C/- Post Office Westonia WA 6423 transmitted by facsimile to 9046 7001 or emailed to ceo@westonia.wa.gov.au and marked to the attention of the Chief Executive Officer. Submissions are to be received no later than Monday 20th May 2024.
