It is hereby notified for public information that the Chief Executive Officer, under Delegated Authority of the Shire of Westonia agrees to the temporary closure of section of Warralakin Road

The Recreational Precinct is integral to the civic heart of Westonia. The precinct is centrally located, and facilitates high connectivity with local businesses. The high visibility of the Recreational Precinct creates an opportunity to provide an attractive stopover for visitors, as well as value add to Westonia as a destination for the emerging daytrip and weekend tourism market. As a result, new spending in our local economy will be generated.

Notice is hereby given that the Shire President of the Shire of Westonia, in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.4 of the Local Government Act 1995 has exercised his power to call a Special Council Meeting via Zoom videoconferencing.

Pursuant to Section 6.33 and 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given to ratepayers of the intention of the Shire of Westonia to impose the following differential and minimum rates for the 2021/2022 rating year
